Frogs n' fungals
I created this illustration as a gift for my partner. It includes our three favorite frog species: the desert rain frog (Breviceps macrops, top), Budgett’s frog (Lepidobatrachus laevis, middle), and Mexican burrowing toad (Rhinophrynus dorsalis, bottom). The frog stack is situated among some of our favorite mushroom species: (clockwise from top) the bridal veil stinkhorn (Phallus indusiatus), fly agaric (Amanita muscaria), golden chanterelle (genus Cantharellus), and morel (genus Morchella).

Thesis Cover
I was asked to create a thesis cover for PhD candidate Kevin Mulder. My instructions were to design an image which related to amphibian genetics and featured the Salamandra and Lithobates (Rana) genera. These are the three final products.

Paintings
These paintings were made as thank you gifts for my REU mentors, Rayna Bell and Ryan Schott.
